A Prayer for the Weary Heart

I come before You not with perfect words, but with an honest heart. You know the weight I carry, the questions I can’t answer, and the tears I sometimes hide. I ask You to meet me right where I am—not where I think I should be.
Lord, there are moments when life feels overwhelming, when the past still whispers pain, and the future feels uncertain. In those moments, I ask You to be my refuge. Wrap Your peace around anxious thoughts. Bring rest to a heart that has been fighting for so long.
Heal the places that still ache.
Mend the broken pieces I don’t know how to fix.
Lift the heaviness that no one else can see.
Remind me that my story is not finished, that You are still working even in silence. When strength feels far away, let Your strength rise within me. When hope feels fragile, breathe new life into it.
Father, I trust You with what I cannot carry anymore. Walk with me through this season and lead me into healing, freedom, and peace.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
